Returning from the days of Minecraft Classic, comes the completely revamped Lavasurvival gamemode. Custom-built for Minecraft 1.11+, this mode has never been better.

[h2]Lavasurvival[/h2]
Lavasurvival was one of the most popular server types of Minecraft Classic; the basic goal being to build a shelter, and survive the pouring lava.

While the basic fluid physics of Classic lended itself well to the mode back in the day, we decided it was time for an upgrade. Lava flows faster, block selection has grown far beyond the original palette, and blocks themselves now melt in new and interesting ways.

[h2]How to Play[/h2]
The round begins with the preparation phase; during this time, build your shelter as large as you can, with thick enough walls to withstand the lava. Be wise with your block selection; each block type has different melt times when faced with either water or lava. Mouse over or select blocks on your hotbar to view melt times against each type of liquid.

Once the preparation timer runs to zero, the lava begins rising to flood the map. You may continue to build after the lava has poured, however leaving your shelter becomes a far greater challenge. Once it comes in contact with your shelter, your blocks will slowly degrade before lava comes rushing through.

The round ends a few minutes after the lava has finished flooding the map. The larger the interior of your shelter is at this time, the more cash you earn. (Also called GGs).

[h2]Loot Drops[/h2]
Another feature of the upgraded version of Lavasurvival is the addition of loot drops; glowing blocks that fall from the sky, they can give you anything from a small amount of bonus GGs, all the way up to powerful, permanent-use blocks that assist you in building the largest shelters possible.

[h2]Ranking & Progression[/h2]
Progress through the ranks is made using the GGs you aquire at the end of each round.

New ranks include more health, better blocks, new commands and bigger rewards. GGs are also used to purchase new blocks, as well as booster items to help you survive the round.

[h2]Rules[/h2]

• No griefing.
• Any kind of hacked client is forbidden.
• No cursing or offensive language.
• No block spamming.
• No damming lava.
• No leaving the map.
• No blocking spawn.
• Please ask before entering someone else's shelter.
